What it is
Hashflow is a decentralized exchange using a request-for-quote model with professional market makers to deliver zero-slippage, MEV-protected trades across chains.
Technology & consensus
Per the official docs, Hashflow is a DEX that replaces the constant-product AMM with a hybrid on-chain/off-chain request-for-quote (RFQ) engine: traders request prices, professional market makers return cryptographically signed quotes using off-chain pricing models, and settlement happens on-chain with zero slippage and MEV protection. Cross-chain swaps are executed without bridges (e.g., via Wormhole-based routing). Smart contracts have been audited (CertiK), with findings resolved by the team.
Token utility
HFT is the ERC-20 governance token: holders stake/lock HFT to mint veHFT (vote-escrow), which determines governance weight, a share of protocol fees/trading revenue, and emissions. The gamified Hashverse DAO ties staking health to rewards and protocol governance participation.
Key risks & notes
Hashflow publishes its canonical documentation (treated as its whitepaper by third parties) rather than a standalone formal whitepaper; noted here in place of one. The RFQ model depends on professional market makers quoting honestly and competitively, introducing counterparty and centralization risk versus pure AMMs. HFT has faced heavy vesting/unlock-driven sell pressure historically.
